Physical and mental health are more closely related than most people think. There are many studies that give supporting evidence of this, such as one which shows mental and physical fatigue to be linked. Other studies proving this relationship include: physical fitness in relation to spatial memory, child abuse affecting brain genes, uncontrolled anger relating to heart health, proper sleeping habits being a result of mental well-being, and another demonstrating a well-defined sense of balance to be therapeutic for anxiety. It is important to remember that being healthy includes being both physically and mentally fit.
