Exercise is a great way to reduce stress, especially during the holidays. Yoga is an especially helpful way to exercise because it calms the body and the mind. Creating an overall sense of well-being combats stress directly. You can go completely the opposite way with your exercise too, by working out until you simply can’t anymore. By wearing yourself out, you will expend pent up energy and force yourself to take it easy. This also helps keep you in shape as well, so it’s a win-win situation. A middle ground between yoga and exhaustion is dancing. Dancing gives you something else to focus on.
