Relationship Stress Reduction

The concept of acceptance is not to be confused with giving up, or agreement. Accepting something, or someone, is simply allowing yourself to look at a situation objectively before working on a desired outcome. It is the ability to understand that other people don’t have to subscribe to your ideal world, because they get to have their own idea of perfection. The unconditional acceptance of self, others, and life are the three ways to be accepting. Each requires work, and having all three is the best way to reduce stress and emotional turmoil in your life. Try to judge behaviors, not people.
