Workers feel more stressed out at work than they ever have before, and more than half of them don’t know what to do about it. Working 14 hours a day, and expecting co-workers and employees to do the same increases everybody’s stress levels. Having such an improper work-life balance can lead to a breakdown. One thing that can be done is to practice mindfulness. This process involves focusing on the present and becoming aware of your breathing. Other employers are even turning to activities such as on-site yoga, or other helpful meditation techniques that focus on breathing and stress reduction.
