Are You in a Rut? Take the Test

The feeling of not going anywhere with your life, or being in a rut, happens to most people at some point in their lives. Frustration, hopelessness, and despair can all come from feeling trapped, or stuck. Fortunately, there are ways out of the “rut cycle.” Challenging yourself is a great way to get started. Other things you can do include deciding where you are headed, engaging in fun activities, doing things that you consider uncomfortable to take yourself in new directions, believing that you can change, actively overcoming procrastination, and engaging in purposeful activities. Ruts don’t have to control your life.
